Garden nursery supplies are often related to and used within various greenhouse environments. Like all young things, newly growing plants tend to be more vulnerable to the environment than many of their more adult forms. For that reason, housing plants within a greenhouse for their beginning stages is a wise idea.
Other than protection, garden nursery supplies also focus on giving proper support to plants. These include supportive sticks as well as trellises and occasionally other plants. Temperature, lighting, and ventilation needs for younger plants are often more advanced than those for adult ones as well.
Garden nursery supplies may focus on one type of plant or one stage of a plant's lifetime. For instance, some deal with propagation, growing out, or selling the plants. It is also worthwhile to note that some nurseries focus on raising a few very healthy plants. Others, particularly those of larger corporations, may focus on raising a large enough amount of plants that just through the numbers enough good ones will survive.
